Quiz Night
CP-FRIS held their Annual Quiz Night on 27th November 2009. Thank you to all those who came along and helped us to raise a few hundred pounds for the charity.

CPFRIS Golf Day - 29th April 2009
The inaugural CP-FRIS Charity Golf Day was held at The Surrey National Golf Club. Despite the appalling weather, nine teams competed for the Rob Judd Memorial Trophy which was won by the team from SunShots. Their captain Mark Lockyer also achieved the highest individual score. Tonbridge Angels were second followed by the team from Nelsons.
There were longest drive prizes for Martin Saunders and Glen Mason together with nearest the pin prizes for Nick Benger, Mark Lockyer and again Glen Mason. The “golfers” from First Franchise, collected the wooden spoons.
After the prize giving and superb dinner we held an auction which was very generously supported by all present including the many non golfers who came along to the dinner and to support the charity. The event helped bolster the charity’s funds which will be used to the pay for the executive box at Selhurst Park for another season. The disabled children who will enjoy (we hope) exciting games of Championship Football in 2009/10 will be extremely grateful to all who supported the day and to the generosity of our sponsors including Palace Detectives, Nelsons, SunShots, Barbara 4003, Paul Stevens Consultancy and Alan Saywell. We are grateful to the numerous individuals, companies and trustees who donated prizes and auction items not forgetting Simon Sutcliffe and his company ISB Ltd who pledged their generous support for the charity on top of the golf day. Thanks also to The Surrey National for their excellent facilities, organisation and kind support.
